Delighted to have returned to the Mandira for 3rd time with my 82 year old Mother. Loved the new Azzure Restaurant for Breakfast & Dinner, food was 5 Star! Mrs Maxwell was delighted to have been invited to celebrate Bali Mandira's 35th Bday, She first stayed there approx 20 years ago with my father, and returned with friends on several holidays. Only downside was our request for late checkout not being available. When I booked I explained Mum's age and with Alzeihmers made it quiet confusing and upsetting for her to have to move early, as we had a late flight. I do understand that you have guests coming to checkin, so we will book our flights home earlier next time. My thanks to ALL staff for their patience and kindness towards Mum, and hope her health will enable her to return next year.
“Happy 35th anniversary Bali Mandira! Everything was wonderful as always! All the staff are great! The restaurants and the bar staff are amazing. We love talking to Sujana, Adi and Padmi and all the others. Also the front reception and security people are wonderful. Jeffrey is also so friendly. Thank you for another wonderful holiday. “Always enjoy staying at the Mandira. Wifi is integral for me as I travel to continue to do my work whilst away. Sometimes it was a bit inclement. Our room struggled to pick it up. Staff throughout the resort were amazing, so friendly and that's what makes them human and not just a staff member. Over the years we have got to know the staff and what their lives are about and thats truly special. A smile and a warm welcome goes a long way. You have a great team there who will do whatever to make our experience enjoyable and memorable. Love Everything about Azul. If their was a way to attract staff at rooftop pool like a button to order a drink. If their was a couple of salad options on the poolbar menu that would be great. Some days you just need a salad. Love the club lounge. This time the food option was great. Did not realise it was a preview of food from restaurant in resort until Jeffry advised us. Better promote internal events (eg themed dinner nights) in the rooms. Like a daily sheet. I appreciate the standard printed sheet is a waste but maybe feed it throught the mandira tv channel. Unless i did not see that :) some shade on club lounge balcony - maybe umbrellas. But love the Mandira. Gardens are just beautiful. Thank you. Colin Sparks”

“My family and I loved our time here. Every one of your staff we encountered was lovely and helpful. The pool is amazing and the slides are a hit with the kids. We upgraded our breakfast to Azul after we were sent there one day as the usual restaurant was full. We liked the little extra touches you have there such as the fresh juices, the little tasting bowls and the bbq. The only constructive feedback i can offer were in our room really and they are only personal things, our beds were a bit soft and saggy for us, we would have liked a balcony (especially for drying wet clothes) and we weren't fans of the raised timber part of the room. Apart from that it was clean and functional. Also, my wife and I did the cooking class which was great. We were also very impressed with the authentic Balinese food in your restaurant. As our first time to Bali we really wanted to try some local food but we struggled to find anything fresh and tasty until we tried the food at Celagi. We would definitely return and look forward to seeing some of the future improvements you have planned. Thanks for a great holiday!!”
